Another Coffee Mystery Success! John Heflebower with Merrill Lynch was our drip coffee sponsor today.
Even with the World Cup showing (USA vs. Algeria), the coffee Mystery was a huge success! One customer compared it to a stranger paying for your bridge toll...and with Fast Trac, you can't really do that anymore!
Some customers approached John who was sitting inconspicuously in the corner of the cafe to thank him. Other customers just said a very polite "thank you" back to us.
What better way to start a person's day? When was the last time you had something paid for by a stranger?
After a lengthy hour of coffee being purchased by John and USA winning against Algeria in the extending four minutes of the soccer game, life is back to normal in the Napa Valley Coffee Roasting Company.
Who, what, where, when, and how will be the next Coffee Mystery?

What is a Coffee Mystery?
Coffee Mystery at The Napa Valley Coffee Roasting Company
Want to build some awareness for your business…or maybe just do an old-fashioned good-deed along the lines of ‘pay it forward?’
Here’s how!
You or your business can underwrite an hour of business at the Napa Valley Coffee Roasting Company.
We call it “Coffee Mystery.”
As customers try to pay, they’ll be told it’s been taken care of by you or your business. Out of the blue. They’ll be charmed and maybe even delighted…and feel some gratitude towards you.
We suggest you or someone from your business come and spend the hour at the Roasting Company so that people can thank you personally and make that person-to-person or business-to-person connection.
Kicking off this new ‘tradition’ on May 19th was John Heflebower of Merrill Lynch. We saw that over the course of his hour people were enthusiastic and grateful and the experience clearly generated a lot of good will for Merrill Lynch.
Call us to discuss: you can underwrite all of the Roasting Company’s transaction for an hour or a day….or underwrite only drip coffee for an hour….or underwrite all bagels for thirty minutes….there are lots of possibilities!!!
Give it a thought….especially in today’s tough times, people appreciate a ‘warm’ gesture.
